A student meeting Cal Grant or California College Promise Grant income and asset levels, qualifying for the Promise Grant or a Federal Pell Grant, exempt from nonresident tuition under Education Code § 68130.5 and meeting income criteria, or a qualifying graduate student; eligibility is verified by an affidavit, award letter, or letter of eligibility. (o)

  • Principally permitted use. A use that, as of January 1, 2023, or thereafter, may occupy more than one-third of the square footage of designated use on the site without a conditional use permit; parking uses are principally permitted whether or not they require one. (u)
  • Regional mall. A site whose permitted uses, on the application date, include at least 250,000 square feet of retail use, are at least two-thirds retail, and include at least two retail uses of at least 10,000 square feet. (v)
